Have you ever experienced Flamingo Gardens???? This botanic (and wild life rehabilitation) wonderland in South Ft. Lauderdale, just East of I-75 and Griffin Road, is a photographer's paradise with massive old growth canopy, flora to die for and a walk-in aviary with Roseates, Ibis, Pelicans, Herons, etc. within feet from visitors. Don't miss the two Florida Panthers, which may be prowling behind glass, the playful otters, two Florida Bobcats, and an up close and personal lagoon of flamingos and Ibis. The peafowls (cocks and hens) wander within feet of cameras and curious visitors. Flamingo Gardens is one of our favorite locations to capture those in your face up close and personal images. A tranquil, quiet and relaxing environment makes for a photo outing and educational trip for the entire family! Dick Fortune & Sara Lopez
